Episode 6: Lost

What am I now?

After escaping a flooding shuttle with Izzy in her pocket, Felini finds herself in a verdant wonderland, the polar opposite of where she crash-landed. The storm had scooped her up and taken her to a place of undisturbed beauty. Very soon she has provided herself with food and shelter and the time to ponder the wondrousness of it all.

As an aside, this is probably the best animation I've done to date. And my friends agree. It was worth the month of work and the countless revisions I kept making. Every time I watched it, I'd see something that could be better. So there I'd be, at 2:30 in the morning, revising her hand as it grips the emergency door lever. That one shot took nearly as much time to finish as the whole rest of the episode. Other time-sucking stuff included the woods: I did all of the scenery art twice. By contrast, I wrote all of the dialog in one pass, and made only a handful of small revisions, as compared to other episodes that got rewritten from scratch multiple times, and patched seemingly endlessly; one episode endured nearly a hundred and fifty revisions. Well, it's not like I have anything more important to do.
