Episode 8: Charade
The problem is, it's not even close.
Rovan's tale of how he'd been on the planet 650 years begins to unravel, along with all of his stories about his presence on the planet. Meanwhile, Izzy finds himself sharing Rovan's former manservant robot with its original occupant, Raster. Between the two of them, they paint a very different picture of Rovan and the events leading up to Felini's arrival.

This started out as a long-winded treatise on life, death, and all that heavy stuff. When I struck upon the idea of taking a more straightforward approach to telling Rovan's story, a more interesting episode emerged. Less navel-gazing, more action. I especially like meeting Raster, an ancient machine from a long, distinguished line.
