A Torture Track
As I was selling off my retro collection, I need some way to test locomotives. I devised a simple "torture track" with tight (7.5" radius) curves and a couple of nasty turnouts. I'd envisioned it as possibly being finished off with some of the old kits I liked that wouldn't fit on the Newport & Rock Falls II, but this wasn't a requirement.
Construction was under way by 6 April 2019, and after about an hour of work, the layout was functionally complete.
I'd just completed the curved viaduct when, unexpectedly, it was sold at a train show on 27 October 2019.
