Layout Summary
The Stockton Branch is a fictional double-track branchline in northeastern New Jersey. Formerly a short Pennsylvania Railroad-operated mixed freight and passenger branch, it survived the brief Penn Central era to become Conrail property. We're seeing it as it was in the late 1990s, shortly before Big Blue's end; passenger service had stopped decades before, and now the line is on its last legs as short freights creep through the concrete wastelands of acute urban industrial decay.
